First up, congratulations to all pie winners and double congrats to bonus pie winners. It's obvious from the above that you know who you are.
But a special shout out to "The Sirens" for your effort in showing the rest of us that the top three ain't that invincible afterall. Well done ladies. And an analysis show that both team members were the reason they triumphed both times. You literally couldn't ask for a better outcome. Well done to both of you.
Now, some of you will notice that some categories above are not registering "6" games played and that is true. There are reasons for this and they are as follows:
1. Imperfect Factacular let a player drop through - this happens. Even though it's not known exactly why, it does happen. As it is assumed that most players KNOW what games they have to play, as Factacular.com makes every possible effort to let you know, it is assumed that if you can't actually play a game, the Factacular.com hierarchy will do everything they can to remedy the situation. BUT, let us know!
Let Java Jive know or JMK or Java or me......there is no shortage of people to notify. It's called the PM function......USE it!!!
If told early enough, we can do something about it. By "early enough", I mean within 24 hours or even later. BUT, a few minutes before a brainoff is due to expire doesn't work. If you tried to play your brainoff minutes before expiry only to find out that Factacular.com had let you fall through, then sorry........you left playing the brainoff too long.....it's too late.
You then fall into the "it sucks to be you" category. Sorry.
2. Non players - this happens too. Not that they want to "not play". But sometimes a business trip or a meeting gets in the way. Family dramas also. Without their knowledge, things get in the way.
Being falling down drunk or excructiatingly hungover is also a reason. We have members that have admitted to that. I admire these members for their honesty and would like to join them except that I have always shown up.
Anyway, that is why some of the above score boards seem not to register full scores......why some sixes are actually threes or fives. That is not our fault......we do the best we can.
But when it says "ALL scores are FINAL", it says that for a reason.
