Nope, she's not banned.

At least, Honey Badger isn't banned. All her other known accounts (wabzy, southshoregirl, sapphire, Alexander, wormchops, wyrmchips, Couture etc) are banned but not Honey Badger.

I expect you're right - she's probably trying to log in with the email address that's registered against one of the above.

Maybe she's just pissed of cause we have learned to ignore her at will.

Feeling irrelevant must be painful.

No I am Kev!

(This could be like that scene in "Spartacus" preferably without the crucifixion)

jmaxg....hydrocodone? Surely you jest. Why are you saying shit like that about me? I had work done on my computer, every password was wiped out and I just had a problem with the password. Now you say I'm a drug user. No. Stop it. I don't like it and I may be a stick in the mud but I was not feeling well after the car accident. Try to be nice to me and see how nice I can be. No more nasties. Thank you, Linda. You are nice to wish that I have a good time.

Well, in your post in another forum you said that after your accident your had five hours of surgery to put you back together again. Unless your Dr. is a sadist it sort of follows that he or she sent you home with some sort of pain medication or are you telling us that after five hours of surgery you went home with nothing? :-)

Sorry to hear about your computer.

You are right, Pall, but that was two weeks or more ago. I don't need narcotics now. I took them for about 4 days then switched to over the counter medicine. My surgeon is a good friend of mine and if I called her she would give me drugs but having become addicted years ago with my terrible back surgery and then gone off the cold turkey, a week in hell to be sure, I am extremely cautious about using them. I normally wouldn't even speak about this, since it is personal, but if anyone on this site is addicted, and it happens easily after a bad surgery or prolonged period of pain I say to you with all sincerity, do yourself a favor, accept the temporary suffering you will have, tell your doctor what you are doing and go off the drugs COLD TURKEY. You will NEVER become addicted again. I feel strongly that prescription painkillers are a big problem in the US.

My computer is sort of fixed. I will never buy a Dell again. Any suggestions?

BTW, my injuries are healing well and I think I will be fine soon. I am a bit surprised at how long it is taking certain things to heal and surprised that I still have some swelling but I am looking pretty much as I did before! Good or bad, it is still me!

You know, I do not want to fight with anyone on here. I have shortcomings just as anyone else does. I have different points of views, we all come from different backgrounds, we have different political views but we surely can discuss things and still LIKE each other even if our politics differ greatly. I am going to try hard and I hope others will, too. Up until now I have been truly unable to write whatever I said I would write. Honestly I will have to check! So let me figure that out and we can just play our cut-throat Kevie matches and argue politics. There isn't one person on here whom I can say I really dislike. I am just living my life and trying to enjoy it. Tha's all I have to say. See you in battle!

You are quite right about addiction to prescription pain meds. If you went cold turkey, more power to you. I don't know if I could do what you did. Having had 4 knee surgeries, one slipped lumbar disc and shoulder arthritis I can appreciate what pain meds can do. I myself have ready access to many drugs but for the most part I rely on acupuncture and non steroidals for relief.

So from one chronic pain sufferer to another, I wish you the best.

Dell sucks but it isn't Dell causing the crash of your computer unless it was a hardware problem. Make sure you have a good firewall, stop visiting those questionable web sites. :-).... and make sure to keep you computer dust free as dust causes excess heat to build up in the box.

Thanks for the advice, Pall. I find acupuncture is extremely helpful for my back pain stemming from two major back surgeries. The feeling of well being is wonderful. I am sorry you suffer, too. It is hard to live with chronic pain but I think the acupunture is excellent.

I think I will get a different computer, perhaps an acer, but honestly, I need to learn to use my PC better!

Pall, how do I begfin to find a healthy white factor Border Collie? And ideas? You can PM. I do not want any fighting, please. It has to stop. It is silly.

I have to echo Pall in saying that the problem with you computer was more likely to be software than hardware.

You'd probably find that your existing PC is completely adequate for your needs but you've just acquired too much junk over time. If you reinstalled the Operating System (after copying all of the files you want onto an external drive, obviously) you'd probably find it ran quicker and was less prone to crashes.

Even if you had to pay someone to do it for you it'd be a damn sight cheaper than buying a new PC.

I use a program called Advanced System Care. My PC is really really old, and I find it runs significantly better after I run ASC on it. It is a free program. Try it.
