If I do send PMs they'll be:

a) to you, saying 'Great, what else can we do?'

b) to others, saying 'Haven't you got anything to add?'

c) to JMK, saying 'Thanks for your hard work'.

I don't have to private message, because I've now public messaged.

Sorry, sweetheart, for:

a) not reading properly

b) sounding like a strict prat when I was trying to be #$?!!% funny.

I'm starting to wonder whether my recent sad, comic and surreal experience of taking part in a quiz at a dementia home has affected me more than I realised.

Sorry, got to go, too busy answering irate PMs.

Playing through these, I was startled by a very long question. It's Passport to Pimlico there's no -- after the ______, so the notes come up as part of the answer.

And here's picky. Is 'Italian' a place name? (Italian Job) I'm asking because the subject could become Film Titles - Missing Toponyms and Demonyms  (I did have to look up those terms) or be two separate subjects.

The Passport to Pimlico thing was me mucking around with what went in the trivia section - back-spaced two times too many. Mea culpa.

I think Ruby's correct about the Italian Job. Maybe delete it & if I might suggest a late entry as a replacement :
23 Paces to ______ -- Baker Street -- 1956. Thriller starring Van Johnson, Vera Miles and Cecil Parker about a blind playwright who overhears criminals plotting a kidnapping.

Appologies for the stuff-ups.    :  {

chooky, don't know if it makes it easier if you edit your -- into the original post or if Editors can just fix it.

I like the idea of another subject - Film Titles -  Missing demonyms

The Italian Job, An American In Paris, French Connection, The Good German, Stuffy Chickens etc

Fixed the Passport to Pimlico. Deleted the Italian Job. Not sure that 23 Paces to Baker Street fits either, ther rest are all towns, cities and countires rather than street names.

Baker Street is a real place, I've no objection to it. What I didn't want to aim for was fictional place names, although of course any place in a movie becomes a fiction....

I understand it is a real street, but it is not a town, city or country which all the other entries are. Not sure it should be opened up to street names.
Definitely want to stick to real places for this subject. Fictional ones could be another topic if there are enough.

Like the missing demonym idea Ruby.
And about streets - I can think of enough streets & roads etc, to support a separate (small) subject. For example:
Scarlet Street starred Edward G. Robinson, Joan Bennett & Dan Duryea
Flamingo Road starred Joan Crawford, Zachary Scott & Sidney Geenstreet

Demonyms sounds good. So does the street names one. Would they be fictional, real or a mix of both?

The Wolf of Wall Street, 42nd Street.... get working, chooky and we'll start thinking demonically or demonymically.

I had thought the streets one would be a mix just because I'm not sure there's enough to support a subject of either real or fictional alone but I've only done a cursory search so far & will look for more but I've got another couple of new subjects almost ready to submit (if that's ok?)
