So Java wakes up one morning and her dependible silver "method Of delivery" (MOD) had stopped working.

She rings me that afternoon and explains. I give consent that she needs a new MOD. So she goes and purchases one.

It's called the "Smok Tech" QBox. With this device, we can "Plume" as much as we like. I am talking outrageous plumes of vapour exhaled.

But Java and I are still content with just the nicotine intake and not the "special effects" such as outrageous clouds.

But, yes, we have played. The device provides a great smoke, is very smooth, and yes, we get to have fun from time to time.

We were both surprised at how exacting these devices are getting yet still remaining under $50.

Coils

Java and I don't know. We know this much, they are not metal based, they are cotton and heating element based.

Why Are Coils Important?

Because coils transmit the heat energy to the oil which contains your flavour and nicotine content thereby vaporising it so it can be inhaled.

Why Is That Different To A Cigarette?

Because the inhalation of a cigarette is composed of three things....

1.  Flavour,

2.  Method of transmission of nicotine, and

3.  Method of maintaining the addiction - tar.

That last one took a while to drag out.

Vaping Does Not Deliver Tar

It literally does not. It delivers nicotine, sure enough. But it does NOT deliver Tar.

I have been "clearing my throat" for the last two years since Java and myself stopped smoking in June 2015 and I am pretty sure that bugs the hell out of Java.

But I am pretty sure she'd prefer me doing that as opposed to not doing it. Because if I wasn't doing it, I might be dead.

As I keep showing up to make her morning coffee, I think we can guess that I am still alive.

I'd just like to point out how much fun it is for me to make her coffee........if not just to prove I am not dead.

It is a good way to get nicotine and the price is right.   Are you sure the nicotine, itself, is not harmful?

With respect to nicotine, it depends on the dose.

With cigarettes, delivering nicotine depended on the dose as delivered by the normal tar-based delivery system.

With vaping, it depends on the type of flavour you want and how much nicotine you want.

Java and I have not lit up a cigarette in two years.

But we would also love to say that vaping, all by itself, is pretty good.

It's a little complicated, agreed.

But jmaxg and Java can report that vaping IS an alternative.

As for nicotine? I only know of nicotine as presented by a cigarette.

Along with the tar, a light smoke may have delivered point 0.8 nicotine content.

I infuse 0.95 or higher using vaping.

So? No really? What?

I get to work out my problem with nicotine, and tar is not a problem.

We dropped "tar" as a problem two years ago when we stopped smoking.

As for nicotine, it works in a certain way.

Java and I keep one "method of delivery" or "MOD" close.

We keep a system that enables us to "plume" when we feel like it.

Do we normally "plume"? No. We do not.

But is it fun when we do do it? Yes, it is.

I have not smoked in many years now but I still find myself craving nicotine.  Yes, it is diabolical but with Nicotrol inhalers, I can play with the little "holder" and puff occasionally, with no "plume" and nobody knows what I am doing. The cartridges deliver 4 mg of nicotine each.  I never use more than two a day, often less.  Of course, there is no tar and no stink, which I think made me want to quit smoking more than anything!   I am curious how your .8 and .95 figures compare to the cartridges delivering 4 mg.

It's about the delivery platform or "Method Of Delivery" (MOD).

You need a tank that holds an either bought or created e-juice that contains flavour and nicotine.

The amount of nicotine is up to you at this point in time. But can be bought and arranged by you at any vape outlet here in the US.

After two years of not smoking, what is happening?

We like our "e-juice" choices. Java is based on 14 milligrams of nicotine and I am based on 18 milligrams. She loves menthol and I love fruity flavours like peach or orange.

Are we satisfied with the direction we have taken?

It's complicated and takes a lot of getting used to.

But yes.

Can you do the above with no nicotine?

Well sure. But why would you?

I don't think Factacular ever said that.

One of us said the opposite.

And once, we tried to explain a difference.

But can you "smoke" (inhale nicotine)

The short answer is yes.

After two years, Java and I have done well.

Have we literally picked up a smoke and lit it?

No. We have not.

Ok, so I fucked up once and played with vicodin.

It's not as if it was the end. It literally was not that bad.

I understand that "House" was making a point..

But was it overly dramatic? Yes.

Is Vicodin hard to kick?

No.....not really.

Is this a bigger issue because of political reasons? No......is vicodin that hard to stop using? Is it?

I don't know.

But once I used it.

It's not that big a deal.

As a veteran of vicodin, all I can say is that it is bullshit.

If you love animals, like Jonathan does, he has the upper hand.

I once called him "skipper".

I will regard him as such for the rest of my life.

So boyo, it doesn't matter.

I do not use drugs.  Except for nicotine......I don't care what others do unless they harm others in order to obtain them.  I really don't.

The thing about vicodin is that it is not as bad as the TV series "House" made it out to be.

The American Government is trying to make vicodin and oxycontin as bad as heroin in that they group them all as "opiods".

That is so fucking unfair. When sufferers actually have a situation, because of political pressure, there is no solution.

Well done America! You have created more pain than you have solved and caused honest doctors to go underground.

When grouping them with heroin users, it makes them look and feel like social outcasts.

Yes, Patient X, you are riddled with cancer and it cannot be operated on. Oh, pain relief while you wait to die? Oh, you Opiod freak!

(even though they are just a normal person seeing out their life)

Apparently, that is the decision of the United States Congress.

Combine that with a population of roughly 300 million people?

This is literally, the most stupid and NON SERVING country of all time!

I knew once of a pain trial in the United Kingdom.

Patients actually tried to hold a decent life before they died.

It took me a while but I finally found out what they used. It's called heroin.

Up until their death, they conducted fairly normal lives.

More to the point, as at their death, it was as painless as possible.

US Congress? I would suggest you don't know your asshole from your elbow.
