There is a comment after the answers of several of these which  I think is inaccurate and wildly vague.

'Between the River Tweed and the Bristol Channel'. The Tweed runs through Scotland to the Scots/English border in the north east of the island of Britain and the Bristol Channel is to the south-west. The area so described is quite large, and I'd argue that the phrase describes an inland area and couldn't contain bays. Some of the bays described thus are in South Devon or Cornwall, to the south of the Bristol Channel, and do not come into the area of between the Tweed and Bristol Channel.
