I thought there were two possible right answers in the rally today, related to the prefix "milli". The example I thought of was millipede, and chose based on that example. The example given in the answer was millimeter, which led to a different answer. https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=millipede+etymology

As a prefix it means 1/1000 even though its Latin root means 1000 if that makes sense.
