Van Morrison - a rock song classic written by Van Morrison and originally recorded by Morrison's band Them in 1964. The 1983 film Flashdance contained the Laura Branigan song 'Gloria, a cover version of Umberto Tozzi's song released in 1979. 'Gloria' is the opening track & second single from U2's 1981 album, 'October'. Antonio Vivaldi also wrote several settings of the Gloria. RV 589 is the most familiar & popular piece of sacred music by Vivaldi; however, he was known to have written at least three Gloria settings.
